Christine Frisbee in an American Painter, born in 1951, in Summit, New Jersey.  She paints both representational and contemporary painting.  She creates clay sculptures.

Always busy creating and drawing from a very young age, Christine was introduced to oil painting at the age of 14 at Oak Knoll School in Summitt. She continued to paint through high school and in college.  After she started her family, she studied oil painting in a small studio in Berkely Heights, New Jersey.  After moving to London she studied art history, the museum collections and gold leafing.  When Christine moved to New York City she studied under Sam Adoquei at the National Art Gallery, with Simon Levinson at the National Arts Club and with Leah Lopez at the New York Academy of Art.  On Cape Cod she took workshops with Dennis Rafferty of Maine and Jonathan McPhillips of Rhode Island.
