As primarily a landscape artist, I strive to look beyond what the eye can see to capture on the canvas that fleeting moment when all comes together and leaves me with a meaningful spiritual experience.
New England artist Corinne Bellingham was born in Connecticut, educated in Boston, Massachusetts, and lived and worked in the Berkshire town of Williamstown, Mass for 37 years. In 2001 Corinne and her husband Duane moved permanently to Sandwich on Cape Cod where they owned a summer home since 1975.
Corinne has had several demanding careers but always art was ever present in her life. She has studied with professional artists in both Williamstown and the Cape Cod area. While she is primarily an oil painter she is also a watercolorist.
As an award winning artist Corinne has participated in many single person and group shows including Cape Cod Museum of Art, Cultural Center of Cape Cod, Cotuit Center for the Arts, Cahoon Museum, and Cape Cod Art Association. Yarmouth Art Guild has exhibited her art work in many galleries and local libraries.
Corinne lives with her husband Duane on Scorton Shores Beach in East Sandwich, MA.
